How to get permanent motivation in life

It has been the biggest query of the ambitious masses since time immemorial, how to get permanent motivation in life.

For most people, the main problem lies in the fact that when we read or listen to any motivational thing, the motivation remains for some time, and then slowly fades away. Without motivation, it becomes difficult for the mind to come out of the comfort zone and do the tasks required for achieving higher goals.

After going through many works of spiritual literature, I found a unified theory of being happy, peaceful, and motivated for whole life which would keep our mental energy at best to accomplish any target we have set.

Let's begin this theory with a basic understanding of our own existence.
  • The world exists outside only because our body has consciousness.
  • No matter whatever we achieve in this physical world, the material comforts or pleasures don't give us permanent happiness or motivation.
  • It moves the question towards our own existence- Who am I?
  • Can knowing our own existence give us immortal zeal and inspiration to live life without stress and still accomplish our material goals?
Well now with this inquiry we can easily understand that all material things including our bodies are impermanent. We can easily notice that our bodies change continuously, so any pleasure or success related to the body is temporary. But there is a thing or consciousness which has been constantly living in us since birth as a pure witness of the world.
Holding on to this consciousness or beingness which is pure silence, can make our minds utterly peaceful.  With this blissful peace, we can live our lives happily without any attachment or craving for material desires. This detachment creates fearlessness and great enthusiasm to express ourselves in the best way possible. Now we can do any work just for the sake of the best expression of our beingness.

The most unfortunate thing is that it becomes very difficult to get treatment for these problems as the doctors charge very high fees and yet can't provide any permanent solution.                 Thankfully, some ancient meditative traditions provide very simple solutions to these problems. Let us know these terms in detail : Waking Life : The state which we know as a conscious state and experience it mostly in the daytime. It contains the active part of life when we experience our body as true identity with our eyes open and sense organs workin...

How Vedanta can help you deal with fear and anxiety

Suppose you are going through a lot of troubles, trapped in a tragic situation and you are feeling so helpless amidst all the difficulties. What will happen if you suddenly wake up to realize that it was just a dream, a nightmare? Won’t you feel so relaxed after knowing that whatever tragedy was happening with you was not real but it was just happening in a dream? According to Vedanta, there are mainly three states of reality: waking, dreaming and deep sleep. Waking life(Jagrat) is where we experience physical realities, dreaming life(Swapna) means the world of only mental thoughts and dreams without physical experience and deep sleep(Sushupta) is the state where physical and mental existence disappear. While we dream, we think that it is real. Only when we wake up, we realize that it was just a dream. Similarly, waking life is also like a dream. This can be experienced by simple logic that whenever we remember past, the past moments appear like a dream. The only differenc...
