How To Attract the Best in Life

Each one of us wants the best experiences in our life. But there is a gap between us and the best experience which can't be bridged until we develop a true understanding of life.

To develop a true understanding of life, we need to understand the basic nature of the body-mind mechanism. Our body reacts the way our mind is programmed, so to get success we need to equip our mind with positive ideas. We will understand this theory of programming our mind with positivity in the following paragraph:

"We become what we think " is an old saying which has been preached since ages by the enlightened masters and experienced people to make us conscious about our thoughts. The reason behind this saying is that our own core beliefs shape the circumstances of life.  If we have cultivated only negative feeling like fear of failure, fear of disease, jealousy, anxiety etc., we witness the negative consequences of these deep-rooted beliefs throughout our life. Therefore we must develop consciously a positive mindset towards life and cultivate feelings of love, joy, satisfaction in life etc. If we can train our mind with negativity then the opposite should also be true i.e., we can train our mind with positivity. It's all about habit. Make a new habit of feeding mind with good thoughts which make you happy and strong.
The scientific explanation behind this concept is the way RAS(Reticular Activating System)      functions in our body. RAS is a bundle of nerves responsible for directing our attention by filtering out unnecessary information. By cultivating positive thoughts of love, joy and abundance we are helping RAS to work for our success.

If you want any desired quality in you then say an affirmation repeatedly in your mind. For example say " I am healthy" repeatedly, consistently with total devotion and passion. You will notice that your health begins to improve.

How Vedanta can help you deal with fear and anxiety

Suppose you are going through a lot of troubles, trapped in a tragic situation and you are feeling so helpless amidst all the difficulties. What will happen if you suddenly wake up to realize that it was just a dream, a nightmare? Won’t you feel so relaxed after knowing that whatever tragedy was happening with you was not real but it was just happening in a dream? According to Vedanta, there are mainly three states of reality: waking, dreaming and deep sleep. Waking life(Jagrat) is where we experience physical realities, dreaming life(Swapna) means the world of only mental thoughts and dreams without physical experience and deep sleep(Sushupta) is the state where physical and mental existence disappear. While we dream, we think that it is real. Only when we wake up, we realize that it was just a dream. Similarly, waking life is also like a dream. This can be experienced by simple logic that whenever we remember past, the past moments appear like a dream. The only differenc...
